VINTAGE 18CT GOLD HUGE SCARAB BEETLE PENDANT

A supersized vintage 18ct gold scarab beetle pendant, circa 1970.

The chunky scarab beetle is a 3D design, with fantastic stylised detailing to depict the head, body and legs.

The 18ct gold has a matte finish for the main body, with accents in a shiny gold.

The reverse of the pendant has a really cool cartouche of a beetle moving the sun, which is said to be the hieroglyphic symbol for Tutankhamen’s throne name "Nebkheperura"

The pendant hangs from the original reeded large bail, making it easy to add to even the chunkiest of chains.

The pendent looks epic on when worn on even the simplest of chains!
