VICTORIAN BULLSEYE AGATE LOCKET PENDANT

A beautiful Victorian bullseye agate locket!

Circa 1860.

This super tactile locket has banded bullseye agate on both sides. The stones are set in a buttery slightly matt 15ct gold frame, and hangs from a chunky 15ct gold jump ring.

The agate colours range from black and brown through to cream and grey.

I love the layers of lighter lace agate which can be seen at the edge of the locket.

The locket opens to reveal a glass panel with a black silk lining on one side, and on the other you can see the reverse of the bullseye agate where the grey and white bands of agate can be seen.

The hinge is in fantastic condition, and the locket opens and closes securely!

The workmanship is fantastic.
