19TH CENTURY CORAL HAND PENDANT

This is a super cool early 19th century carved Coral Figa hand pendant.

The hand, which is beautifully carved with exceptional detail down to the fingertips, is clasping five coral amulets, including a finely detailed sleeping dog, a boot and, a white coral mini Figa hand!

Both the main hand and the mini hand are adorned with turquoise bracelets.

All gold fitting are made of 15ct gold.

These hands were worn as good luck charms in the 19th century and the amulets were said to ward off the evil eye.

Looks stunning on a chain on its own or part of a neck mess
