19TH CENTURY HORSESHOE & STIRRUP 18CT GOLD PENDANT

A gorgeous antique equestrian pendant made of 18ct gold.

The pendant has a chunky gold horseshoe with a gold stirrup hanging from a gold strap in the centre.

The horseshoe has lovely detail, with raised rectangles for the nails. The buckle of the stirrup strap is also detailed above the stirrup.

The stirrup is looped through the gold strap, so it moves when worn which is a lovely detail.

The gold has a slightly matte tone which was so typical of this mid to late 19th century jewellery.

Hallmarked 18ct on the reverse
