19TH CENTURY SNAKE FOB PENDANT

A super cool early Victorian fob with a wonderful coiled snake biting his tail.

The snake has beautiful chasing the entire way from the head to the tail to depict the scales.

This crosshatch chasing also continues around the base of the fob.

The intaglio, is a bright orange Carnelian inscribed with pretty italic letters, that could read: ‘SM’, ‘SH’, ‘WF’ or ‘HF’

The fob looks gorgeous on a fine chain, threaded between the loop on the snakes tail!
