19TH CENTURY SWIVEL DOG CLIP IN 18CT GOLD

A lovely 19th century 18ct gold antique dog clip.

Likely originally from a French chatelaine,

The dog clip has the traditional French mechanism locking shut with a screw collar at the base.

It also is a swivel clip so will always sit as desired.

The clip itself is rounded, which is more unique, often they are a teardrop shape.

Perfect to add a charm or a collection of charms to your necklace.

It’s also perfect to use as a chain extender.
