19TH CENTURY WORKING 18CT GOLD PADLOCK & KEY

A super rare miniature 18ct gold functional padlock and tiny key pendant.

Circa 1880/90, the tiny ornate key opens and closes the padlock!!

The key hangs from a fine 18ct gold belcher chain, which is looped through the padlock arm with a large gold jump ring.

There is a clear French owl hallmark on the reverse to confirm 18ct gold.

Perfect to wear as a pendant, but can also be used as a clasp.

So cool to find this with the tiny working key still intact.
