A supercool antique 15ct gold bangle.
Made of solid gold, this late 19th century bangle is super modern in design; The simple oval bangle with a suspended chunky Bramah key.
Looks gorgeous work on the wrist alone, or with a bunch of bangles.
It also makes a fantastic statement pendant.
The key has the Bramah signature incised castle turret bit end, a sleek shaft and a simple bow.
The Bramah lock was invented by Joseph Bramah in 1784.
It became famous as the first key and lock to be ‘unpickable’.
The Bramah locks were used for many purposes, but very often for jewellery boxes.
The keys would be worn by the owners disguised as a piece of jewellery.
Please note, there is no fastening, so bangle needs to fit over the hand to be worn.
