A charming Victorian 18ct gold envelope pendant.
The envelope has a sparkling old cut diamond on the front.
The envelope flap opens to reveal a double sided gold letter that can be removed.
The letter is engraved with;
‘Ships that pass in the night’ ‘May often meet again’
The back of the envelope has the word ‘Cysta’ or ‘Crysta’ in a cursive script.
It was likely a gift to a loved one or relative.
I’m going with ‘Cysta’ for ‘Sister’ (which is what I want it to say!)
Such a charming sentimental piece, and I’ve not seen one with a diamond before!
