A superb quality antique 9ct gold bangle.

The completely smooth chunky bangle is so contemporary in design, yet it is just over 100 years old. It has crisp hallmarks for Birmingham 1922.

There is also a partial makers mark ‘S.B&S’ which I believe refers to S.Blanckensee & Son Ltd, who were a prominent manufacturer of luxury goods in Birmingham from the late 19th century to mid 20th century.

The fully round tubular bangle is oval in shape, so it sits really well on the wrist.

It looks so good worn alone or worn with a stack of bangles.

The invisible hinge is in fantastic working order.

And the tongue clasp makes a satisfying click when closed. There is an additional safety chain for extra security.

A super stylish piece.

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
