ANTIQUE BI-COLOUR 18CT GOLD & PLATINUM TROMBONE CHAIN

A stunning antique 18ct gold and platinum bi-colour trombone link chain, circa 1900/1910.

The chain has gorgeous mini trombone links, which alternate in sections of 18ct gold and  platinum, to create a super cool mixed metal chain.

The chain fasted with a chunky 18ct gold dogclip and a large stylish 18ct gold button hook, which was the original fastening for these types of chains that came from pocket watches.

The button hook looks super cool in line as an extender, and can also be used as a charm holder worn at the centre front.

Hallmarked for 18ct on the dog clip, with makers mark ‘WHW LD’

I rarely find mixed metal chains with the trombone links.

And this one is a fantastic length!
