ANTIQUE GARNET & DIAMOND HEART PENDANT

A really pretty antique cabochon garnet heart pendant.

Circa 1900; The chunky garnet has been cut in a puffy heart shape, and is likely foil backed, which flashes bright crimson red when the light hits it!

The centre is set with a sparkling old cut diamond.

The reverse of the heart is backed with 9ct gold, and this also frames the edge of the garnet.

The heart hangs from two micro belcher chains, which looks gorgeous worn on a simple chain.

Fair, the overall condition is good, there are visible nicks and scratches to the garnet heart mainly over the top and around the setting (shown clearly in last photo)  See photos for more details.
