ANTIQUE SILVER PAPERCLIP & LOVERS KNOT CHAIN

A chunky Victorian silver paperclip & lovers knot chain.

The chain has paperclip links alternating with large knot links, and closes with a chunky silver dog clip which is in excellent working order.

The chain is hallmarked for 1898 on the dogclip, and has the lion passant marked on nearly every link to indicate silver is of sterling quality.

Makers mark HP is on the dogclip.

The chain is a great length at just over 17”, and looks so stylish when worn, either on its own or with a bunch of other chains.

A great jewellery staple, which can be worn easily with any outfit!
