A gorgeous Victorian heavyweight Silver paperclip Albert chain with T-bar.
The paperclip links are super chunky, and joined by simple chunky belcher links.
The chain is hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, and bears the makers mark JS* on the tbar and one paperclip link. This was a company in Liverpool named Joseph Sewill, who made watch chains between 1890 and 1900.
A Lion Passant is marked on the majority of the links to indicate silver is of sterling quality.
The dog clips are likely historical replacements and the makers marks are different. However they are in good order.
These chains are so hard to find with this paperclip link, especially in a wearable length.
This is the heaviest and chunkiest I have found yet!
It looks so stylish when worn, either on their own or with a bunch of mixed metal chains!
