A spectacular Archeological Revival sphere pendant, circa 1860.

The stunning orb is made of two-tone high carat gold, with a floral leaf and granulation pattern.

The base colour has a gorgeous matte gold patina that is typical of pieces of this era.

The ball is split into four sections by a twisted rope border, and each quarter is set with a faceted gem; two Diamonds alternating with a Ruby and a Sapphire.

The quality of work is exceptional.

Looks beautiful on a simple chain.
