A super cool antique equestrian necklace.

Likely late 19th century, this epic chain is made of sterling silver, with a large trotting horse at the centre of a huge snaffle bit and two large stirrups.

The chain is made of alternating chunky rope twist links and plain double belcher links.

The chain has two matching chunky silver bolt rings at the front, making it easy to fasten.

The stirrups and the horse are hallmarked with 925 for sterling silver. And a partially legible makers mark or code.

The chain has dark tarnish in areas, which adds to depth of the silver.

This is right up my street and one of my favourite finds!

Makes an epic statement when worn.

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
