This is a super cool early 19th century carved coral figa hand pendant.
The hand is clasping an ornate gold key, which twists in the palm.
The hand has been finely carved, with a high level of detail including the fingernails.
There are some chipped areas on the fingers - see pictures, but these do not take way from the beauty of the piece.
Both the gold cuff and key are made of high carat gold.
These carved hands were good luck charms in the 19th century were said to ward off the evil eye.
