A striking pair of late 18th century green paste drop earrings.
Circa 1780, the cushion cut, oval stones are the most vibrant emerald green, and are in excellent condition.
The stones are set in a traditional domed closed back gilt metal setting, and the stones are foiled which was a traditional method of this period to give extra sparkle.
The paste stones hang from micro belcher 9ct gold chains, and have 9ct gold shepherds hook wires.
