EDWARDIAN CHUNKY SILVER PAPERCLIP ALBERT CHAIN

A super chunky Edwardian silver paperclip Albert chain with T-bar.

The chunky paperclip links are a great size, and are joined by simple belcher links.

The centre front of the chain has a t-bar and extender chain, which is perfect for adding pendants.

The chain closes with two chunky dog clips that are in good working order.

A Lion Passant is marked on nearly every link to indicate silver is of sterling quality.

The chain is completely original, with hallmarks for Birmingham 1906, and makers mark: ‘H.P’

The hallmarks match on the dog clips, tbar and central loop. The makers mark is also on one of the paperclip links.

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

All The Old Cut chains and necklaces have the total length detailed in the description.
The measurement will be in cm and inches.
We recommend you place a tape around your neck to see where the chain will sit.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
