GEORGIAN 15CT GOLD LARGE SPLIT RING

A superb quality, large scale Georgian split ring made of 15ct gold.

Circa 1820/30; the supersized ring is a good weight, and has beautifully crisp foliate chasing all over.

The ring opens and closes slightly differently to the usual clipping design;

This one has been designed more like a key ring, each end has a tiny curved lip which is easy to get hold of and open the ring slightly (as you would a key ring) to slide on your charms.

There is also no gap when the ring is closed

Wonderful for adding charms to a chain, and for larger fingers to wear as a ring. These make excellent stacker rings.

Due to the size it makes a very cool chain extender - adding approx 1” to your favourite chain!
