A super cute Ouroboros snake split ring made of 9ct gold.
The Georgian split ring, circa 1820/30 is modelled as an Ouroboros snake biting his tail.
The ring is in excellent condition, with defined cross hatching along the snakes body, and a cute duck nose snake head and defined eyes.
The split ring clips closed on one side, with the other leaving a small gap. Still super secure once your pendant is added
The Ouroboros has been a popular symbol since ancient times. Literally meaning ‘tail-devourer’.
The Ouroboros represented the concept of ‘eternity’ and ‘love everlasting’.
