This is a wonderful, early 19th century Rock Crystal spinner pendant.
The large Rock Crystal has the most spectacular frame I have seen.
Made of high carat three tone gold; the matt yellow base has a green and rose gold beautiful flower and leaf profile design on both sides and over the original bail.
The super chunky Rock Crystal has faceted edges that catch the light beautifully.
The first face has an intaglio of a family crest with a shield surrounded by flora and surmounted with a clasped hand, the second has the initials A D with a crown, the third is plain, so could have your own initials or motto added.
A chunky chain can fit easily through the original bail to hang around the neck.
The pendant is a large scale so really makes a wonderful impact when worn
Circa 1810/20
