A wonderful Georgian Sulphide brooch depicting ‘A horse frightened by a Lion’ after George Stubbs!

The gold chunky frame is chased with snake scales the entire way around.

And the entire piece is has a closed gold back with the original pin.

The level of detail captured in the sulphide is fantastic.
