A super chunky heavyweight antique double silver curb Albert chain.

The curb is a great size, with a symmetrical slight graduation on either side, measuring approximately 11mm at the widest point.

The centre has a fixed tbar, and the chain closes with two large silver dog clips.

The chain is original with matching hallmarks on the dogclips and both sides of the chain, all have makers mark ‘G.F.B’

The tbar is hallmarked for either 1887 or 1894, it’s slightly rubbed so hard to be accurate, but certainly Victorian.

The lion passant is present on nearly every link which guarantees that the silver is at least 92.5% pure, which is the sterling standard.

The chain is a longer than average length that I find with this link at approx 19.6”, which is a great length to wear alone as it’s chunky enough to make its own statement, but also looks great layered with other chains for a different look.

Looks epic when worn.
