A lovely chunky Victorian silver horseshoe pendant
The hollow silver horseshoe has beautiful foliate chasing all over the front, with smooth silver raised chunky rectangles to depict the nails.
With the traditional four nails on one side and three on the other, the horseshoe is a symbol of good luck.
The pendant hangs from a large silver jump ring, making it easy to hang from most chains.
The pendant is hallmarked for Birmingham 1884, with the lion passant for sterling silver stamped on the back and side of the pendant.
Possible makers mark AEP.
Looks very cool worn with silver or gold.
