GEORGIAN CRYSTAL SKULL MOURNING RING

A superb Georgian skull ring made in 1754.

The ring has a wonderful hexagonal faceted rock crystal with a tiny enamel skull head beneath.

The setting for the crystal is fluted and set to a Rococo scrolled band which is enamelled in black, and reads JOHN NICHOLSON OB: 6 NOV 1754 AE: 63

The ring is of fine quality and in fantastic condition.

The ring bears the makers mark W.H
