MINI 9CT GOLD ACORN CHARM

 A mini Acorn pendant, made of 9ct gold.

This cutie has tiny proportions, and detailing. With a gently textured surface to replicate the nut shell and smooth gold to represent the nut.

The acorn bears a full hallmark for 9ct gold and the date letter ‘A’ which is likely for Birmingham 1925!

There is also a makers mark which unfortunately is not legible, but I love the amount of information they decided to add to this tiny piece!

In miniature form, the acorn looks gorgeous on a simple chain, or mixed in with other pendants and charms.

Nuts were used often in Victorian jewellery due to their symbolism, and have been popular into the first half of the 20th century too!

The acorn symbolised; Fertility, growth and strength.
