A striking Victorian 15ct gold & enamel heart and anchor pendant.

I have not come across this design before;

The deep blue guilloche enamel anchor is entwined within the reeded gold heart, which twists around the anchor like a rope to create the pendant border.

A chunky old cut diamond is set upon the anchor shank in the middle of the heart adding some extra sparkle.

The gold has a gorgeous slightly matte patina, which is typical of 15ct gold of this period.

Both the heart and anchor were popular symbols during the 19th century.

The heart representing ‘unconditional love’, and the anchor ‘steadfastness or hope’

The combination of these symbols in the quirky design looks great on any chain.

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
