VICTORIAN 15CT GOLD SNAKE / BRAZILIAN LINK CHAIN

A superb chunky Victorian 15ct gold Brazilian / snake link chain.

This is the chunkiest chain of this type I have found in a while! The diameter is approx 3mm thick, and the chain weighs in at a respectable 18.3g, giving it a real presence around the neck!

The chain closes with the original tapered barrel clasp that has beautiful chasing all over and is in excellent working order.

The link is lovely and sleek, and hangs really well due to the articulated slinky links.

The chain is slightly longer than I usually find of this style. At just over 16” long, it looks epic alone or worn with a pendant.

A must have piece for any serious antique jewellery collector.
