VICTORIAN 15CT GOLD SNAKE / BRAZILIAN LINK CHAIN

A gorgeous chunky Victorian 15ct gold Brazilian / snake link chain.

The link is lovely and sleek, and hangs really well due to the articulated slinky links.

The chain is in excellent condition, and chunkier than most examples I find, with a thickness of approx 2.75mm.

The chain closes with the original barrel clasp that has beautiful chasing all over and is in excellent working order.

The chain is longer than I usually find of this style. At 16.5” long, it looks epic alone or worn with a pendant. 

A must have piece for any serious antique jewellery collector.
