VICTORIAN 15CT GOLD & TURQUOISE INTAGLIO FOB PENDANT

A super pretty 15ct gold fob pendant studded with cabochon turquoise stones.

The fob has a lovely sphere surmount above the  carnelian intaglio below.

The fob has raised circular rope wire work surrounding the individual turquoise cabochons.

And a row of smaller turquoise stones around the centre of the sphere.

The gold has a fantastic patina that compliments the bright turquoise colour beautifully.

The intaglio has a carved crest depicting an arm holding a sword, above a scrolled banner with the words ‘PAC ET SPERA’ which translates as ‘PEACE & TRUST’

The banded carnelian agate is white on the surface and orange where the intaglio has been carved - the banded colours in the stone have been used to create this cool effect.

Looks fantastic on any chain
