VICTORIAN 18CT GOLD ACORN PENDANT

A lovely Victorian 18ct gold acorn pendant.

The plump acorn has wirework detailing for the cup and smooth gold for the nut. It hangs between two beautifully chased leaves.

Circa 1860-1880.

The acorn was a popular symbol during the Victorian era.

They symbolised; Fertility, growth and strength.
