VICTORIAN 18CT GOLD OPTICAL ILLUSION RING

A very cool Victorian 18ct gold optical illusion ring.

Circa 1890/1900, this ring has a clever secret; when rotated slowly, the edges appear to widen then narrow!

This optical illusion was marketed by the Victorians as magical jewellery, and they created this illusion with rings and bangles.

This is the first illusion ring I have come across and it immediately tricked me!

The ring is in excellent condition and hallmarked 18ct!
