A super stylish Victorian MIZPAH ring made of two tone 22ct gold.
The font is simple and clear in a slight rose gold sitting proud of the yellow gold band.
The ring has a full crisp hallmark for Birmingham 1863, including the queens head, and 22ct gold mark.
Makers mark W.S is also present.
It’s very rare to find an example in 22 carat gold.
The ring works well alone or as a stacker ring.
‘MIZPAH’ is a Hebrew word that has come to signify an emotional bond between two people. Mizpah jewellery started to be seen in the Victorian period around 1850, and remained extremely popular up to then end of the century.
The MIZPAH rings were perfect love tokens that could be subtly exchanged with a loved one during these strict Victorian times.

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.
Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.
We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.
Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear
