A dramatic diamond horseshoe and deep cut garnet brooch.

The central rose cut diamond horseshoe is designed around a super deep and chunky faceted garnet, and is flanked with a further three chunky faceted garnets either side.

The brooch is set in a high carat gold setting.

The garnets are dark and moody, but when they catch the light, they are lit up with fantastic flashes of crimson!

This is a totally unique piece.

There are partial hallmarks on the pin and hook, these could be French or Austrian in origin.

very good, there is very light abrasion to some of the facet edges, see pictures.

Bracelets & Bangles:

How your bracelet fits is a personal preference.
To check your preferred size, wrap a tape measure loosely around your wrist to the tightness you would like your bracelet to fit.
From the end of the tape measure to the point where it crosses the tape is your desired bracelet length.
Please compare this to the measurements specified on each of our bracelet product pages.
Note, some bracelets are adjustable – this will be mentioned in the description.
Note, if a bangle does not have an opening, you must select one that will pass over your fist.

The measurement will be in cm and inches.
We recommend you place a tape around your neck to see where the chain will sit.

JEWELLERY CARE

Antique Jewellery should be taken care of during wear.

Cleaning and repairs should be carried out by an antique jewellery specialist.

We recommend removing pieces of jewellery before washing hands or showering, as water can damage the antique settings.

Some pieces are not recommended for everyday wear

The Old Cut guarantees the piece up until the new customer receives the item.

Any stones that are lost or damaged during wear are not covered by The Old Cut. These will be charged for replacement, we can of course help find a suitable jeweller to support repairs.
