A super stylish Victorian Whitby Jet collar.

Made of angular carved pieces of jet that taper around the neck.

In its original form, the jet is threaded on elastic which ensures that the necklace fits most neck sizes, and moulds beautifully around the neck when worn.

The collar fastens with a silver hook.

The necklace creates a wonderfully dramatic look, that could easily pass as a modern avant-garde design, yet was created over 100 years ago.
