VINTAGE LARGE SILVER ANCHOR & FISH PENDANT

A very cool vintage silver anchor and fish pendant.

The large anchor, very classic in design has a chunky fish coiled around the shaft.

The fish design is very similar to the fish depicted in the Victorian period, with large bulbous heads (almost dolphin like), open mouthed, and scales all over the body.

I love that the detail extends to the reverse of the pendant too!

Clearly inspired by 19th century jewellery and design, this anchor is hallmarked for London 1974.

The anchor hangs from a double silver jump ring, making it easy to add to any chain.

The scale really makes an impact, and the subject is really cool!
